The FinishLynx Split Grid can be used in supported timing workflows to create a complete split view by including the FinishLynx LIF folder in your live results.

Set up and test the Split Grid before the meet so split data is correctly associated with athletes and timing points.

Before setting up the Split Grid

Confirm that:

  • FinishLynx is configured for the meet.
  • Athlete and race information is available.
  • Your timing points or split locations have been determined.
  • Any other systems used in your timing workflow are connected and configured.

Open FinishLynx

  1. Launch FinishLynx.

Access hidden settings

  1. Click File.
  2. Open hidden settings by using Ctrl + Shift + click on Options.

Enable the LIF database

  1. Click the + icon next to Database.
  2. Click the + icon next to LIF.

This step allows the FinishLynx LIF folder to be included in your live results and split view configuration.

Configure the Split Grid

After enabling the LIF database, open the Split Grid in FinishLynx and configure the available settings for your meet.

Make sure each split corresponds to the correct timing point or location.
