Before you begin
Have the following ready:
- Your MileSplit account
- Your MileSplit meet page
- Access to manage or time the meet
- Your timing or meet-management software
- Meet entries and athlete information
- MileSplit Live
Open your meet in MileSplit Live
- Open MileSplit Live.
- Sign in if prompted.
- Select the meet you want to publish.
- Confirm that you selected the correct meet and date.
Connect your timing data
Configure the appropriate data source for your timing workflow.
MileSplit Live supports different setup methods depending on the software being used. For example, your workflow may use:
- A direct software integration
- A database or file location
- FinishLynx LIF files
- FieldLynx result files
Use the software-specific MileSplit Live instructions to configure your connection.
Start publishing
After your meet and data source are configured:
- Confirm that the correct meet is selected.
- Verify that events and athlete data appear correctly.
- Select Start Publishing when your setup is ready.
- Confirm that results are updating as expected.
