MileSplit timing partners can customize their live results experience to feature their timing company branding at no additional cost.
Available customizations include:
- A custom domain, such as live.yourtimingcompany.com
- Site colors that match your timing company's brand
- Your timing company logo in the top-left corner of the page
Set up your custom domain
If your timing company already owns a domain, you can create a custom domain for your MileSplit live results by adding a CNAME record through your domain provider.
Update your DNS settings
- Log in to your domain provider, such as GoDaddy, Bluehost, or HostGator.
- Select the domain you want to use.
- Open Manage DNS.
- Select Add New Record.
- Choose CNAME as the record type.
- Enter partner as the host.
- Enter partner.milesplit.live in the Points To or destination field.
- Set the TTL to the lowest available value.
- Save the new record.
The exact names and locations of these settings may vary depending on your domain provider.
Finish your custom domain setup
After completing the DNS changes, email registration@milesplit.com and let the MileSplit registration team know your DNS setup is complete.
The MileSplit team will handle the remaining setup.
Add your timing company logo and colors
MileSplit will configure your logo and brand colors for you.
Contact MileSplit Support and include:
- Timing company name
- Timing company logo
- Preferred brand colors
The MileSplit team will apply the branding to your timing company experience.
