Claiming Team (If you have not created an account) 

1. If you do not already have an account, create a free one at https://wi.milesplit.com/register, by entering an email address and password.

2. Select Coach and click continue. 

3. Search for your team and select it. Please Note Please note: When claiming a school, a school-issued email address is required. If you do not have a school email, we will need to obtain confirmation directly from the school's athletic director or the individual in charge of the athletic department. Please contact us at support@milesplit.com.

4. From here, you can either return to the MileSplit homepage or go straight to your team page. You will be able to update your roster and register for meets within 24 hours. 

Note: If you do have an account, go to wi.milesplit.com/teams, find your team, and submit a claim. In the examples above, Wisconsin was used as an example, but make sure to type in your specific state or province abbreviation. i.e. TX, WI, etc. Your specific site can be found here: https://milesplit.com/network. 

Claiming Team (If you already have an account) 

1. Navigate to your specific state or province MileSplit page using the abbreviation in the url. Click Teams.

2. Click on your team name, and once on that page, look beneath the team title and then click the button that says Claim Team.

3. Click either Coach or Team Administrator, but not both. Each has the same access to your team roster and online meet registration. 

4. Click on the Submit button at the bottom of that page. You should add your team position in the text box, and any other information you believe we will need to quickly verify that you are a coach. A school email address is also a very good indicator that we use.

5. You will receive an email letting you know you have been approved or denied as the team Coach or Team Admin. If you get a denial email, please reach out to our support team for more assistance.

Most requests are approved within several hours. If you have not received the email within 12 hours, please check your junk or spam folders for the email.
