Approved coaches can add a meet their team is hosting to the MileSplit calendar without using MileSplit Online Registration.
You must first claim your team and receive MileSplit approval. If you have not claimed your team, follow the instructions to claim your team before continuing.
Important: Use these instructions only for a meet your team is hosting that will not use MileSplit Online Registration.
Open your team schedule
- Log in using the email address you used to claim your team.
- Select Account in the top-right corner.
- Select My Teams.
- Select the team hosting the meet.
- On your team page, select Edit Team under the team name.
The Edit Team button only appears if your team claim has been approved and you are listed as a coach for the team.
- Select the Schedule tab.
Add the meet
- Adjust the filters to select the season and year for the meet.
- Select Add Meet.
- Enter the date of your meet to search the existing meets on your state's calendar.
You must search the calendar before creating a new meet. This helps prevent duplicate meet pages.
- Review the search results.
- If your meet already exists, use the existing meet instead of creating another page.
- If the meet is not listed, select Meet Not Found.
Create the meet page
After selecting Meet Not Found:
- Enter the requested information for your upcoming meet.
- Review the meet details for accuracy.
- Select Schedule Meet at the bottom of the page.
After completing the process, the meet will be added to your team's schedule and should appear on your state's MileSplit calendar within 24 hours.
If the meet does not appear within 48 hours, contact MileSplit Support and include:
- Team page link
- Meet name
- Meet date
Only add meets you are hosting
Do not use this process to add a meet your team is only attending.
The meet host or timer is responsible for adding the meet page to MileSplit.
Using MileSplit Online Registration?
If you are the meet director and plan to use MileSplit Online Registration for a new or recurring meet, do not create the meet through your team schedule.
Instead, use the MileSplit Registration Wizard to create and configure the meet for online registration.
