If you are hosting a meet that is similar to a previous event, you can use the available cloning option to create a new meet from an existing one.
Cloning can reduce the amount of setup required for recurring meets.
Clone the meet
- Sign in to your MileSplit account.
- Open the existing meet you want to use.
- Open the available meet-management options.
- Select the option to clone the meet.
- Enter the information for the new meet.
- Review the copied settings.
- Save the new meet.
Review the new meet carefully
Do not assume every setting from the previous meet should remain the same.
Check information such as:
- Meet name
- Date
- Venue
- Events
- Divisions
- Entry limits
- Registration settings
- Contact information
- Entry fees, if applicable
Update anything that has changed before opening registration or sharing the new meet.
