Follow these instructions to export a compatible Hy-Tek file and upload your meet results to MileSplit.

If MileSplit Registration was used for your meet, results imported using this process may automatically link to athlete profiles and appear in rankings.

Important: Do not change team codes that were provided through MileSplit Registration. Changing these codes can cause teams and athletes to appear unmatched.

Athlete and team ID matching

For results to automatically link to athlete profiles and rankings, the file must include valid Team IDs and Athlete IDs.

These IDs are provided through MileSplit Registration when it is used for the meet.

If athlete IDs are missing, coaches can find them by:

  1. Going to their team page.
  2. Selecting Edit Team.
  3. Opening the Roster tab.
  4. Viewing the ID column.
  5. Selecting the icon in the ID column to display the athlete’s ID.

After uploading results

Once processed, results will appear on the meet page.

  • Fully matched results will appear on athlete profiles and in rankings immediately.
  • Unmatched results will still appear on the meet page but will not appear in profiles or rankings until processed by the MileSplit Stats team.

Making corrections

If corrections are needed:

  1. Update the results in Hy-Tek.
  2. Export a new file using the same process.
  3. Upload the updated file to MileSplit.

Corrections will automatically update on athlete profiles and rankings when properly matched.
